Join a Campus Compact Affinity Network for 2021–2022

June 22, 2021

Find space to strategize together, ask questions, find answers, and receive support.

Meeting regularly throughout the year, Campus Compact affinity networks provide space and structure for community engagement professionals to discuss issues of shared interest. These networks support members in designing creative approaches to advance community engagement within their institutional and personal contexts.

This new program will allow campus engagement professionals to build sustained collegial networks for professional development, networking, partnership building, and sharing of best practices. All networks will meet virtually on a quarterly basis, beginning with a kickoff meeting in July. Check out the Affinity Networks sign-up page for a full schedule.

Four affinity networks are available for the 2021–2022 academic year:

  • Rural-Serving Institutions. Led by CCNH Director Stephanie Lesperance, this affinity network is for engaged faculty, staff, and administrators from institutions based in rural areas.
  • Community Colleges for Democracy. This affinity network is for faculty, staff, and administrators from two-year institutions.
  • Mid-Career Community Engagement Professionals. This network is for engaged faculty and staff who have been in the field for 8–15 years.
  • Minority-Serving Institutions. This network is for faculty, staff, and administrators from MSIs, HBCUs, tribal colleges, and any other minority-serving institutions.

This exciting opportunity is available only to those at Campus Compact member colleges and universities. Participants may register for multiple groups and may volunteer to serve as a co-coordinator as part of registration. The first meetings are in July, so sign up now!
