Fusion Course: Enhancing Education through Community-based Learning

This five-session webinar offers critical training and support for faculty as they continue to adapt to shifting teaching practices. Learn how to infuse community-based learning into existing online, hybrid, or in-person courses to strengthen learning, create community connections, and improve student retention.
Participants will:
- Review best practices in community- and problem-based learning pedagogy
- Learn effective strategies for engaged teaching and community building through online and hybrid courses
- Explore benefits, challenges, and successful practices in using community-based learning in online, hybrid, or in-person courses
- Gain experience with helpful online learning tools, techniques, and technologies
Faculty members will come away with a blueprint for an online, hybrid, or in-person course that integrates community-based learning.
