2021 CCNH Presidents’ Awards
CCNH member institutions are committed to working with their communities in ways that enhance student learning and meet community-identified needs. Each year we honor outstanding work among our member campuses and their community partners through the Presidents’ Awards.
The 2021 CCNH Presidents’ Award celebration took place virtually on April 14. Among those honored were students, faculty, staff, administrators, and community partners whose hard work and dedication have made a demonstrable difference in New Hampshire’s communities.
Presidents’ Leadership Award
This award honors a student or student organization on campus that has made outstanding contributions to community and/or civic engagement efforts on their campus. Award winners have made service an integral part of their college experience in ways that have had a demonstrable impact.
Students and student organizations honored this year were noted for their commitment, fearlessness, effectiveness in raising awareness of pressing issues, and ability to take transformative action to benefit others. Read their stories here.
Presidents’ Good Steward Award
This award goes to a faculty, administration, or staff member who has contributed professional expertise in service to the wider community and who has significantly advanced public service on their campus.
Those honored this year went above and beyond to support student learning and success during the difficulties of Covid-19, ensure the health and safety of those on campus and in the community, create meaningful community partnerships, and provide expertise to help area businesses and organizations thrive. Presidents’ Community Partner Award
This award honors a nonprofit organization that has enhanced community life in meaningful and measurable ways and that has developed sustained, reciprocal partnerships with a college or university.
This year’s honorees provided exceptional services in a wide variety of areas, including community health and wellness, coordination and provision of services in response to Covid-19, businesses and economic development, early learning, youth development, college preparedness, academic and social support for students, health education, violence prevention, support for refugee children, vital arts and physical activity programs, and more.
