CCNH Presidents’ Award Nominations Open

Nominations for the 2022 Campus Compact for New Hampshire Presidents’ Awards are now open! Submissions will be accepted until March 25, 2022. Each Presidents at CCNH member institutions are invited to select a recipient to honor in each award category for their outstanding contributions in community service, service learning, civic engagement, and/or community engagement: The President’s Leadership Award recognizes a student or student group. The President’s Good Steward Award recognizes a member of the faculty, staff, or administration. The President’s Community Partner Award recognizes a partnering nonprofit organization. Peer Mentoring for Student Success

Campus Compact for New Hampshire is pleased to sponsor an upcoming workshop, “Developing Peer Leadership and Support Programs for Student Success.” The workshop will explore peer mentoring and peer supervision models as strategies for enhancing student outcomes. Attendees will learn how to create or enhance a successful student program. Newman Civic Fellowship Nominations Open for 2022–2023

Nominations for the 2022–2023 Newman Civic Fellowship are now open! The nomination process will remain open through February 1, 2022. The Newman Civic Fellowship recognizes and supports community-committed students who are changemakers and public problem-solvers at Campus Compact member institutions. Fellows are nominated by their president or chancellor on the basis of their potential for public leadership. Through the fellowship, Campus Compact provides students with training and resources that nurture their assets and passions and help them develop strategies for social change. Apply Now to Become an Engaged Scholar

Campus Compact is accepting nominations for member faculty, staff, and administrators to become Engaged Scholars for 2022–2023. The Engaged Scholars initiative is designed to develop a diverse group of early-career faculty and staff to strengthen their own community-engaged scholarship and lead equity-focused change within their institution and communities. This year’s Engaged Scholars cohort will consist of 20 individuals from Campus Compact member institutions across the country. Campus Compact has appointed Bobbie Laur as its next national president, effective February 15, 2022. Laur currently serves as associate vice president for outreach at Towson University as well as executive director of the Coalition of Urban and Metropolitan Universities (CUMU). Meeting regularly throughout the year, Campus Compact affinity networks provide space and structure for community engagement professionals to discuss issues of shared interest.
